ACCA is one of the largest and fastest-growing global accountancy bodies with 170,000 members and 436,000 students in 180 countries. For ten years, Metro Broadcast’s Symon Veglio has been working closely with ACCA’s Facilities Manager Ian French to install, maintain and support the audio and visual technology which allows ACCA to engage with members, staff and students world-wide.
ACCA's headquarters are in London with the principal administrative office in Glasgow. The professional association’s in-house facilities include multiple training rooms, meeting rooms, boardrooms and video-conferencing suites.
Metro Broadcast’s installation covers simple-to-operate presentation equipment in meeting and training rooms but scales up to multiple screen displays, discreet audio reinforcement, push-to-talk wireless microphone systems and video conferencing facilities in the larger spaces.
Ian French, Facilities Manager at ACCA says, “Having Metro Broadcast so close at hand to maintain and support the installation gives us peace of mind in what is a pretty hectic schedule of events and communications. The London offices especially are very busy. When problems occur, we often need to call on Metro at very short notice.”
Metro Broadcast’s Project Manager Symon Veglio says, “We have a number of trained engineers who are very familiar with the installation at ACCA and we regularly rotate these engineers in order to ensure we are able to provide a consistent level of support.”
Metro Broadcast’s ACCA team skills include; large screen display, projection, sound reinforcement, room control systems, lighting, stage design and build, video-conferencing, systems programming and CCTV.
